Don't worry, we are still happily accepting visitors - the purse room is a dual purpose guest room.
But the shoe room is where I now house all my heels (sneakers and other abominable footwear were left behind in the sub-par walk in closet in our bedroom), jewelry, scarves, and belts.
Scarves, swimsuits and cover-ups, belts... yikes that was a real mess to sort through!
During the process of
taking over every room in our house relocating things, I packed away all my winter wear and used those nifty suck-out-all-the-air bags I got for Christmas to save space.
Fur coats shrunk down to nothing in that bag!
I also updated my regular closet to house all my summer dresses. The weather hasn't quite caught on that it's Spring yet, but it will soon enough.
I live in maxi dresses. Apparently.
Back to the shoe room.
It is a far cry from my dream dressing rooms of pinterest, and it's a little bare save for the shoes. But it was a free (all stuff I already had) 2 hour project that is a pretty good use of space (in my opinion anyways, Andrew might beg to differ!) It also forced me to clean out my closets and get rid of 6 boxes of stuff
I'm too big for I don't wear anymore.
Oh Texas, what they said is true... everything is bigger here. Especially my derriere.
