It never occurred to me to start a blog until last July when we moved across the country. It was an experience like no other... being uprooted from sunny San Diego and settling into scorching San Antonio in the middle of Summer.

All of a sudden we were 2 timezones and 1,500 miles away from home. Yikes! It's been a fun, challenging adjusment y'all! Alas months have gone by and phone calls, facebook, and skype are great but hopefully this little blog will be an easy way to stay connected with family and friends as we continue our adventures in Texas.
